Although many of our guests get so
relaxed and comfy in our cottages that
they don’t want to leave, here are some
of the many things to do in the area:

  • Swimming, fishing, and tubing in the Little River
  • Swimming and golf privileges at a local country club
  • Horseback riding, hiking, and biking on nearby trails
  • Shopping at craft and antique stores
  • Whitewater rafting

Area attractions include:GSM.jpg (54959 bytes)

  • The Great Smoky Mountains National Park (3 miles away)
  • Cades Cove (20 minute drive)
  • Tuckaleechee Caverns
  • Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood (about 18 miles away)

But you don’t have to go far to enjoy the beauty of the Smokies—just take a walk in
the meadows or woods around the cottages where you’ll find a variety of hardwood trees, wildflowers, and mushrooms. We keep resource books of the area and maps to aid you in fully enjoying and experiencing the treasures to be found here. You’ll also want to set aside a restful afternoon for enjoying the many books, magazines, and games that you’ll find in the cottages. There’s no chance of getting cabin fever here!
